WWE Trivia

KURT ANGLE is the only pro wrestler to be inducted into The National Wrestling Hall Of Fame.

FREDDY BLASSIE is mentioned by name in the REM song "Man On The Moon". The song was used as the theme song for the film "Man On The Moon" a biography of comedian Andy Kauffman, which also featured Jerry "The King" Lawler and Jim Ross.

THE ROCK was the first ever wrestler to kick out of the "Stone Cold Stunner". He did it while wrestling "Stone Cold" Steve Austin at WrestleMania XV.

KURT ANGLE renamed his finishing move from "Olympic Slam" to "Angle Slam" after an objection from the National Olympic Committee.

VINCE McMAHON appears in the credits of some of The Rock's movies as "Executive Producer". This is because WWE and Vince McMahon owned the copyright on Dwayne Johnson's stage name.

KURT ANGLE became the first wrestler to kick out of a Brock Lesnar F-5 during their match at WrestleMania XIX.

STEVE AUSTIN became the first wrestler to kick out of The Rock's finishing move "The Rock Bottom" during their match at WrestleMania XV.

THE UNDERTAKER became the first WWE star to appear in a "Bollywood" movie. In 1996 he appeared in "Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi" playing his own Undertaker character and even spoke Hindi in the film.

BRIAN LEE appeared in the WWE as "The Fake Undertaker" in 1994, before becoming the character "Nailz". Ironically he was the best man at the wedding of Mark Callaway who, of course, plays The Undertaker.
